Since a medium length hair cut is not too drastic, it is easier to accept the change. Once you make this change, you will enjoy having shorter hair.

If they are wearing it up, make sure they have used lots of hair spray so it is a controlled hair style.
Ideally you want them to look pretty and not clash with you. It is your special wedding day and they are all happy for you.
